Our air shipment arrived this week! While I know that stuff is only stuff it was still really nice. It is definitely helping us feel more at home. Just enough things arrived to get us by until the rest arrives (hopefully soon, come on boat).
I’m not sure who was happier, Adam or me.
Adam finally has some toys!
Note to self, maybe next time those heavy red jogging pants don’t need to be air shipped to tropical Manila.
And I have my new, bigger Le Creuset and Clorox wipes. A brief ode to wipes, I have been the worst cleaner the past couple of weeks and I just wasn’t sure what was going on. It turns out I have become absolutely and utterly dependant on Clorox wipes to clean. Hmmm, maybe I should learn how to use a less disposable method.
Hello beautiful!
Organizing everything that arrived in the air shipment made me more excited about the rest of our stuff arriving and decorating the apartment. I know you’re all waiting on pins and needles for some pictures of the apartment when our stuff is here and to hear all about how I organize. Don’t worry people, soon!
In other news, Adam has a new baby obsession. I know I’ve already listed four this week alone but I swear, this is definitely the biggest baby obsession he has ever had. Fountains! He is in LOVE. There are so many on the High Street by our house and every day when we walk over there he is practically bursting out of his stroller. He is fascinated by water. It blows his little mind that he can’t grab and hold onto the water but that doesn’t stop him from trying.
I usually try to keep him in the stroller so he doesn’t get soaking wet, but the other day I brought a change of clothes and let him run free. These fountains are actually really cool. There are 10 rows of fountains and they continually change height and light up. I can actually see why Adam’s obsessed. I foresee carrying around a bathing suit in my bag for the next four years.
This little fountain changed height and sprayed Adam all over. I wish I had his little face on camera. He got a little scared and wanted a hug from mommy.
Adam loves the Dr. Seuss book One Fish, Two Fish and here he reminds me of this-
Who is this pet? Say! He is wet.
You never yet met a pet, I bet,
As wet as they let this wet pet get.
