Field Trip

Last Friday Adam went on his first field trip ever.  The Amerikids Daycare, which is run by the American Embassy, organized a trip to the Mind Museum and Adam went too.  We got ready and walked over.  It’s right near our house and I’ve been wanting to take Adam so this was the perfect opportunity.  We may have stopped at Starbucks for a snack on the way.

Some of use were a little nervous about the talking robots at first…

But once inside Adam was in baby heaven.  This museum is great.  It’s interactive, creative and full of things that toddlers can touch, grab, squeeze and look at.

If there were dinosaurs roaming the earth, Adam would have a new favorite animal.  Sorry dogs, dinosaurs are just cooler 🙂

Here is a fuzzy but cute video of Adam with the dinosaurs
I was hoping to meet some moms on this field trip, but I guess it was too hard with everyone running after their children.  As amazing as the museum was it definitely made me miss my friends back in DC.  It’s more fun to be a stay at home mom when you have friends to do stuff like this with.  I know it takes time and when I first moved to DC I was missing my friends in London.  Why can’t everyone I know move with me every time 🙂 Any takers??
I’m sure I’ll meet some great people here and get sad when I have to leave them too, but can they hurry up and hang out with me already.
