Chocolate Hills and Tarsiers

On our fourth day in Bohol we decided to do some sightseeing.  Bohol is famous for their chocolate hills, over a thousand small hills.  We went in rainy season so instead of being chocolate the hills were more green than usual.  It was beautiful and worth the 250 steps we had to climb to see it.

Any guesses what I wished for 🙂
We also saw the tarsiers.  This little guy is one of the world’s smallest primates and pretty cute.  We went to a wildlife preserve so we could see them in their natural habitat instead of a cage and it was great to see them just sitting in the trees.  Adam loved them and spent the rest of the day looking for them in the trees.

Bohol is one of the prettiest islands we’ve been to so far.  The beach was beautiful, the chocolate hills and tarsiers were  so much fun to see and it was so nice to have the week with no agenda besides beach and pool.  Not a bad way to spend fourth of July!
All in all it was a great week!  I leave you with Adam’s first video that he made all by himself.
