Adam had United Nations day last week at school. We were supposed to dress up as a country where we’re from. We didn’t really have an Egyptian or Greek outfit so we improvised. Adam looked more like an Arab sheik but still still pretty cute.
His school is only about a five* minute drive from the Embassy so I decided to take lunch and go over and see their Friday performance.
(*Five minutes when there is no traffic, which in Manila is never the case. This five minute drive has taken as long as two hours, but I was lucky and the drive only took me 10)
Adam’s class put on a super cute performance and sang a song about the continents. His school does a pretty good job teaching through song. He might not know it but he already knows the days of the week and the continents. Here is what it looks like when you try to take a picture of 20 2-4 year olds.
Here is Adam with his BFF Victoria. These two are so cute. I asked them to take a picture together and they cuddled right up!
Here they are singing Adam’s favorite song. Words for all who are curious below:
SLIPPERY FISH
Slippery fish, slippery fish, sliding through the water,
Slippery fish, slippery fish, Gulp, Gulp, Gulp!
Oh, no! It’s been eaten by an?
Octopus, octopus, squiggling in the water
Octopus, octopus, Gulp, Gulp, Gulp!
Oh, no! It’s been eaten by a?
Tuna fish, tuna fish, splashing in the water,

Oh, no! It’s been eaten by a?
Great white shark, great white shark, lurking in the water,

Oh, no! It’s been eaten by a?
Humongous whale, humongous whale, spouting in the water,
Humongous whale, humongous whale,
