Bittersweet

Our last weekend in New York was bittersweet. The bitter part is clear. After a wonderful three weeks in New York it was time to say goodbye to our friends and family for a long time. The hardest part of our life is not being closer to all those we love.  Even writing this post makes me nostalgic for our three weeks in New York and my family.
The sweet part was all that was managed to cram in that short last weekend that made it special.
We saw our friends Sol and Dina and their adorable two boys for brunch.

Adam squeezed in some time to insist (as only a toddler can) on getting a dog leash for when he gets his dog that he asked for every day in New York.  In the meantime Uncle Nooj kindly allowed himself to be walked around New York City until we get a dog.  Pretty great uncle.

We managed to squeeze in one last New York playground trip with both Grandmas and the Jordans.

And of course we had to squeeze in one more Mets Game. This time we went with loads of people, the Jordans, Grandma Gertch and our friend Matt with his two children Conor and Clara.

We also got to enjoy our new best friend, cotton candy.

Goodbye New York, we love you!
