Since having kids there is nothing I love more than celebrating holidays with them. The older they get the more exited they get to participate in all the activities. Easter egg coloring is almost as exciting as finding easter eggs filled with chocolate…I did say almost.
This year Malcolm was old enough to really get it. He loved plopping those eggs in. Adam would color one egg at a time, and slowly dye it to the exact shade he wanted. Malcolm would plop those eggs in wherever there was room. So interesting how different their little personalities are!
Easter might just be my favorite holiday. It’s always been about having a big dinner with all our family and friends, dying eggs and looking for Easter eggs. There is no pressure to buy presents for everyone, you can just enjoy the day. We are having a big lunch at our house with our friends after an Easter egg hunt and I can’t wait!
Here are Adam’s eggs:
And here are Malcolm’s, minus a couple that he has insisted he holds for ‘just one minute’.
