Hoppy Easter Everybunny

As you all know, because I keep repeating it, Easter is my favorite holiday.  Its fun, means a big dinner with family, no pressure to do anything and you can let your kids eat all the candy in the world guiltfree.  Who can’t get on board with that!

The boys were very excited about the Easter bunny this year.  We of course left the bunny some cookies and carrots to snack on while he hid all of the eggs.  There were some Easter baskets hidden away to be brought by the Easter Bunny that Adam accidentally found so those were from mommy and daddy instead.

When I started thinking about Easter I decided to get the boys one Easter basket each with some fun candy,a few art supplies and a Mets hat of course since the season has started.  But, you know how these things are.  All of our super generous families sent tons of things, bathing suits, legos, books.  I had a car ramp from Malcolm’s birthday from Aunt Das and Uncle Nooj that finally got put together oh and we found a giant paper mache T-Rex. Who doens’t need that for Easter.

After all the new toys were adequately explored it was time for the big Easter egg hunt! The boys were super cute and helped each other find eggs. I always color code the eggs, it makes for a more fun and much more civil egg hunt i find. Both boys helped the other one find all their eggs.

After the egg hunt the boys wanted to crack open some of the dinosaur eggs the Easter bunny left for them .

Then on to some Easter treats!

For Easter we invite 30 of closest friends over for lunch.  All the kids had one last easter egg hunt and all the adults ate and drank the afternoon away.

There was even a bunny cake!  Haopy Easter everybunny!!
