Graduating in style

It really seems like yesterday that Adam started school at Amerkids and now three years later it was time for Adam’s last moving up ceremony and Malcolm’s move from the Toddler room to the Pre-K room.
Because I love a throwback, here we are at Adam’s toddler class graduation, which is what Malcolm had this year!

Adam was super excited, Malcolm was a little more emotional abut graduating.  Randy had to help him go up and get his diploma.
What I love about their graduations from pre-school is that the Ambassador presents their diplomas. I’ve said this before, but we’re setting the bar pretty high 🙂 Ambassador Kim is our new Ambassador and he gave everyone their diplomas.

Adam went right on up, took his certificate and shook the Ambassadors hand.

Malcolm was more shy about going up, it didn’t help that he was the first one called so Randy went with him.

Malcolm’s class performed the cutest Pete the Cat performance. Malcolm had been practicing for weeks around the house but he was not in the mood to get up there.  He was so prepared but sometimes you’re just not feeling the big musical number, we get it Malcolm.

Next up was this smiling boy.  He was so excited. His class performed Ananzi the sea otter and Adam was a falcon.  He was great!  He loved it and was so excited to be up there. It’s hard to believe this was his last year at an Amerikids graduation.  He spent weeks making his wings and he was so proud of them! They looked beautiful!

Someone was happy the pressure of performing was over….

They got to dance to Adam’s favorite song!

And Adam even got to give the Ambassador a thank you gift.

After that is was time for a dance party, dinner and just like that another school year comes to a close.

Adam has been so lucky to spend 3 years here.  The teachers are amazing, the parent board is great (and i’m not just saying that because I was on the board) and the foundation that Adam has for school is unbeatable.  He is definitely ready for kindergarten!  He is curious, loves to learn and explore, is confident and already knows more about most things than I do.  I am so happy that Malcolm will still be there next year or I would be much more teary.  I can’t wait to see Adam grow in kindergarten and Malcolm grow and love pre-k as much as Adam did.  I hope these two always love school and learning!
