Before we left for our trip we put our Christmas Tree up! We had plans to spend Christmas in New York for the first time in five years we decided to decorate our tree early. We already had a fake tree which was great because we put it up and left it up the whole six weeks we are away! Then when we get home in January, we’ll have a little bit of Christmas left. And Christmas tree day is my favorite day so I wanted to make sure the boys had the chance to decorate the tree and Miral got to have her first Christmas tree day.
A fake tree needs to be put together though and these two helped loads. No really, they did!
And it was this peanuts first Christmas tree day!

Adam is intrigued that Miral needs to find her hands and feet. So I ordered these little rattles partially for Miral but mostly for Adam.
I’m pretty excited for our first Christmas as a family of five!
We went from fake Christmas trees in 90 degree Manila to enormous redwood trees in a cool 75 degree California. I have never been anywhere that has parks like California. Beautiful trees, amazing lights, well kept trails. They may not have lights and ornaments but nothing like a 50 foot redwood to put you in the Christmas mood.
