Helium is pretty hard to find in Manila. After five years here I still don’t really understand why, but it’s something I miss every birthday (I’m sure you are all familiar with my whining about no helium). So for Adam’s birthday I wanted to buy the biggest balloons I could find. Randy went out the night before to buy them and bought red and blue, Adam’s current two favorite colors. Randy threw in a Pokemon balloon which the boys have been really into and it was definitely Adam’s favorite balloon.
I convinced the boys to come outside and take some pics and it was just in time. At the end of the photo session the boys started throwing the balloons around and next thing i knew two had broken free and floated away! Good thing we still had three that lasted the whole rest of the time we were in California.
