Virginia is for Christmas Trees

It’s so exciting that we are in the United States and we can go and pick out our own Christmas tree! This has been my dream! In Manila, we would have to order a fresh tree in August and hope by the time it arrived in late November that it would survive to Christmas. The boys came with us and loved getting to pick out a tree! Uncle Ari who was visiting, which was great and super helpful during this tree adventure.

If Ari hadn’t been there I might have had to settle for one these cute little mini tree.

Malcolm really surprised me and LOVED decorating the tree this year. He put up 80% of the ornaments and loved every minute of it.

He did a great job, the tree looked great!

It was a great weekend with Uncle Ari and Grandma visiting. We even got to see Santa!

This was the closest Miral could get to Santa. She was NOT a fan this year. I loved this Santa, he kept trying to sneak up behind her.

Candy canes!

Maybe Miral was regretting treating Santa so poorly, lol.

Me and the boys even went to a Cirque de Soleil show on ice with our friends Carrie and Carrie and their daughters Simone and Celia.  It was a bit dramatic for Malcolm but by the end he got into it.
