We were assigned to two years and when we went there we had all sorts of plans to travel around Europe and to explore every bit of the city, the bars, the restaurant. Four months into our tour Covid hit. We spent six months home from school, worked mostly from home for most of our time in Ukraine and only made it to Greece out of our long European list of countries to visit. But, despite all that the two years we lived in Ukraine were two of my favorite for so many reason.
