Top three Bali with Adam

Now onto the main event, what you’ve all been waiting for, pictures of Adam.

1) My number one in Bali with Adam was watching him interact with his Uncle and Aunt.  He loves them so much and was in heaven the whole week.  There were always two willing happy people to play with him, lift him up, twirl him, give him leg rides and satisfy his every whim.  He was glum for a week when they left but that’s a post for another day.  Not that his mom and dad don’t play with him, but you know how it is.  These two are young and full of energy and hustle.

2) Spending lazy days at the beach and pool with Adam.  At home we always have a busy schedule of play dates and activities so it’s nice to have nothing to do but play in the sand with him and teach him to kick his feet when he’s swimming (well done Randy!)

3) I always love this about travelling so its not specific to Bali but I love seeing Adam’s face as he discovers new things.

This band rolled around every evening around 5 pm.  Just in time for Adam to have some dinner al fresco with some music.  He loved the music.  I need to start playing some dinner music!

Sand, an old favorite.  Still hasn’t lost it’s appeal.

Oh W, you had us at unlimited green apples.

New hiding spots.

Seminyak is a great town to go shopping with a baby, there are animal statues everywhere!

Who knew an airplane magazine could keep a toddler’s interest for 30 minutes.

A bag that wheels in all directions?! Hours of airport fun.

A big bathtub and even a toy frog, success.  Having a bathtub was GREAT! In most of our travels the hotels have showers and if it’s not outside by the pool this boy is not a shower person.  In Bohol I would just bring the soap and clean him in the pool shower.  So yay for bathtubs!

This could have happened anywhere but Adam discovered his nipples in Bali.

This guy got a big hi every morning.

This guy played every day at Laguna and Adam loved it.  We had to get him his own little xylophone to take home.

Not in the top three but worth mentioning was how funny it was to compare how the other half lived.

In the morning the Alis averaged a wakeup of about 6 am. We would get dressed and have some coffee and breakfast. Then we would head out to the pool as some of us were getting stir crazy.

We had time to read the paper.

And play with the squirrels and the squirrel signs, which we loved equally.

Eventually around 11:30 when we were getting ready to eat out lunch and take our AFTERNOON nap, these two would roll up for some breakfast 🙂  Must be nice!

Bali I will miss your beautiful sunsets and can’t wait to come back.  I can say that and mean it now that you are only a four hour flight away 🙂
