One for the Albums

First day of school this year. Adam is back in his Pre-K class and Malcolm is back in his toddler class. I am so glad they get another year at this amazing pre-school. It is at the other Embassy compound, close to the embassy where we work so we are able to join for activities. It is entirely parent run and this is my second year on the board. I guess the 10 years Gretchen spent on the PTA rubbed off on me. I debated joining the board for a while, working full time leaves little time for anything else, but I decided it was important enough and I like being part of the process behind decisions such as which teachers to hire and admission process.  I am so happy to be involved in this school. The teachers, students and parents who have served on the board with me are fantastic. I am so happy Adam and Malcolm have had such a great start to their school life.

Back to our first day of school. I was so excited to get the boys dressed up and take pictures. I was sure everyone would be excited and cooperate.

Some of us were ok for some photos.

Others were not in the mood.

Luckily by the time we got to school some of use were feeling better.

Others took a little longer to warm up…
