Clam Pizza

We all know that I love a list and I especially love a birthday list. I’ve already listed the reason I love Randy, so today in honor of Randy turning 36 last week, I thought I would make of list of 10 things I bet you didn’t know about Randy, or maybe you did already know them but they are things that I love about him. So really this is another list of things that I love about Randy. But hey, it is his birthday.

1. In high school Randy refereed young kid’s soccer games for extra spending money. He recently signed Adam up for soccer and is so excited about it. He loves taking him and helping him learn how to play.

2. This is the face he makes when our kids are fighting over ice-cream but we can still laugh about it.

3. Randy can make and float out a perfectly round bubble from his mouth. This one is hard to explain, a video might be needed. Needless to say the boys love this. Randy is also super patient and loves explaining things to the boys.

4. When Randy is asked to present at work he always makes a new interesting presentation even if it means working nights. When I asked why he didn’t just take the content and make a simple presentation, he replied – if I have to do it, why not do it right. Guess it is now clear to all of you who you should hire if you had the choice.

5. Randy drives us all to school and work through CRAZY Manila traffic and keeps his cool every.single.day. This is really something. When he is away and I have to drive I am constantly yelling and hitting the horn button, as Adam calls it, all the time.

6. Randy will only go see a movie in the theater if the reviews are excellent or if Matt Damon is in it. He loves Matt Damon. He gets so excited to go see movies with the boys, in fact I just realized how much he loves going to the movies with the boys. He will go see the movie without even checking the reviews, he is just so excited to go with them. He also really liked Storks.

7. Even though he doesn’t love a posed photo or redecorating as much as me, he supports me with it every single time.

8. In Randy’s dream world he would have an hour to meditate every day. But instead he spends that hour with his children and his wife.

9 Randy loves twitter and reads it every day, but I don’t think he’s ever actually tweeted. I think that’s called lurking.

10. Randy’s favorite food in the entire world is Lee’s clam pizza in Staten Island. I love this for so many reasons but mostly because Randy has had pizza all over the world but a little dive bar in Staten Island is where he would most want to eat his pizza.

For Randy’s bday we did it all! We went to Nobu, we had a special breakfast with the boys, dinner out with the boys with presents and cake. We even had a big party at our house for all our friends with a bartender and all!
